Bug Description

See http://launchpadlibrarian.net/60534369/cannot_set_latency.PNG

Background of tab contents is grey like the rest of the dialog, should probably be white like tab background.

This probably has something to do with that being a scroll area.

Comment if this happens on your platform (I haven't noticed anything on Linux, but maybe your qt drawing engine does it differently and I don't currently know what happens on osx).

Same here with MacOS 10.6 and Ubuntu/Gnome 10.10 , although not that noticeable like in the screenshot, no issue with Ubuntu/KDE 10.10.

Yes , and it is a little tricky.
Tried to solve it with transparent background but while it works for MacOS & Linux/KDE it wont work for Linux/Gnome.

I just committed a fix to trunk and it looks good on Windows and KDE, could someone test GNOME and OSX?

It may be in a similar direction to what jus tried, I just noticed his comment.

Sorry all, had to revert this. It was causing parts of child elements to be transparent. This is beginning to really annoy me, I'm probably just going to redesign the sound prefs (again) so that we aren't using a scroll area.
