No way of manually changing BPM

Bug Description

More of a "bring it back" rather than a "new feature" request.

There doesn't appear to be any way of manually changing the BPM of any tracks in any of the 1.8 betas.
For example, I'm fairly sure Phil Collins isn't drumming at 194BPM, probably half that value. When I try and change it by double-clicking on the BPM, it keeps reverting to the first-detected BPM.

Additionally, the option to tap a BPM seems to have vanished, which makes things fairly difficult.

Any chance these can be sorted? :)
Cheers!

Oops, sorry guys, didn't realise I'd already submitted this bug ages ago. :x
Any word on when 1.8.0 will be out?

I wish we knew :). We're hoping to make the feature freeze for Ubuntu 10.10 so that means late August.

We are planning to have a beta2 out soon.

Thanks,
RJ
