Bug Description
I screwed up the quotations in the .desktop file(s). We have like 6 mixxx.desktop files scattered in various places including two in the "debian" directory (one's called something else though).
As far as I can tell, gnome-panel does not follow the frigging freedesktop.org specification for parsing quotations, because I checked the specs before I made the .desktop files use pasuspender, to prevent exactly this from happening... ARGH

What about adding "Pulseaudio" in the list of Alsa's device list?
I manually added Pulseaudio in asound.conf and now Pulseaudio is shown there as "pulse".
It works fine!
If you create more than one virual device for pulseaudio in asound.conf you can seperate and send the audio streams to different audio outputs via padevchooser I think.. Haven't tried that out at the moment..
