GUI objects don't respond to MIDI device in Windows

Bug Description
When operating a MIDI controller using simple XML mappings to all but the 'Play' MixxxControl, the on-screen GUI buttons don't light even though the desired action takes place. If I operate the control on the GUI, the on-screen button (and the mapped output LED respond as expected.) This is only a problem on Windows.
