Mic not broadcasting, but ducking audio?

Bug Description

I use a Universal Audio Apollo Twin USB, and every once in a while, the Mic stops Broadcasting, but it is present on the meter for the Mic input, and the audio ducks as if the process is receiving the Mic input and then augments the tracks playing. But as I listen to the station on my phone's browser (to headphones, naturally) there's no Mic Audio!

Anyone ever hear of anything like this? It's intermittent, and usually a fresh reboot of the computer, then opening the control panel for the UA Device, then Opening Mixxx.

Thanks!

If the VU meter in Mixxx shows samples and the ducking also works, It is likely an issue with Mixxx itself.

A restart of Mixxx alone should solve the problem. Can you confirm this?

Is there something suspicious in the mixxx.log file, after the issue has happen? By luck there is a log file with a number prefix from failing run.
