sporadic crashes

We have reports of intermittent crashes with prolonged use of AutoDJ:

From the log attached to that comment it seems related to exporting track metadata to an MP3 with ID3v2 tags.

It is unlikely that the memory leak is related to exporting track metadata, because this code has not been modified recently.

I checked letting AutoDj reloading the Stormy song and it played fine before, during and after, so seems not to be that song.

I'll sort out the traceback when I'm on the computer tomorrow and will press ahead with running the beta on the other computer so we can compare and contrast.

Hi Be- I tried to install the back trace and it failed. I used the Debian build dependencies from the Install Build Dependencies and that said no such directory. But it occurs to me, these are also live machines, would doing a whole source code build for testing with the additional back trace packages cause problems on them? We don't have a spare Ubuntu machine for test only.

In the meantime, the skipping tracks seems to be deffo fixed, and I am now running 2.3.1 on a long autoplay on the second machine to see if it crashes on that one.

If it does, I will attach the log file here.

If it is slowly raising this is the root cause of the issue.
