stopping recording causes broadcasting interruption

As Subject mentioned, I unfortunately experienced a weird symptom using "Mixxx" software during our last broadcasted radio show.
We planed a 3 hours radio show and I wanted to record the whole thing but not in only one huge recording file.
= So I planed to stop recording during the musical intermissions and restart recording for a second and third recorded session.
Now what kind of trouble occurred:
Stopping the recording by Mixxx also stopped the streaming (and/or the connection from our Mixxx sound source to the streaming server), for a short time(*), as if the "Master link" process (which takes over the streaming in place of server Virtual Studio when broadcasting Live) have been disturbed by this action and/or an unexpected/unwanted signal or command.

= Did you already experienced such a symptom and its trouble?
= Do you have any comment or suggestion about what I described above?

Which Mixxx version do you use?

Can you reproduce the bug, maybe stream to a different port of your streaming server ( as you wouldn't want to try that on air :) ?

Did you restart broadcasting manually or did it reconnect on its own?

= I don´t know how I could reproduce the bug using a different port...

= It reconnected on its own... (the streaming server found back the signal and used it as "Master link"…)

Okay.
Just in case your broadcasting connection has issues again you can reduce the reconnect delay in the Preferences > Broadcast

2.2.4 was released recently. In the 2.2.3 > 2.2.4 changelog I see that only one issue related to broadcasting was fixed (lp:1876222). Anyway, it recommend upgrading your install to 2.2.4

If you experince the previous rec/broadcast issue again, please catch the log file from that session and post it here. Hopefully we can see what the issue is.

Ok Tx 4 update information
I´ll check it out with 2.2.4
and I take note of log file directory path and keep this in mind...
+
I´ll make a list of much more little bugs I noticed
but which are mostly of appearance matter.
The biggest of them I think about so far is:
> AUX1 Volume Button is useless when using extra screen laptop set-up
(If sliding Mixxx screen to extra screen for a bigger view while broadcasting,
clicking on AUX1 volume button to adjust volume makes the arrow jumping to up right side of screen !!!
so adjusting is not possible, but only right click to set back at center position...)

In order to trace each issue properly we'd appreciate if you would file launchpad bug for each issue you encounter.

When you file the bug report about the Aux1 volume knob, please try to describe it more precisely as it is not clear to me what the issue is. Or even better: attach a short screencast demonstrating how to reproduce the issue.
