V2 Combo box parameter cannot be controlled via drop down menu

Bug Description
If you load for instance the "Stereo Routing" effect from the x42-plugins package, you can toggle the single parameter via the button and the drop down shows the correct value.
However chaining the value via the drop down menu itself has no effect.
