Mixxx fails to detect the first beat with no leading silence

Bug Description
With current master and qm non const beat grid. the first beat is skipped.
This is a odd situation, because with quantize enabled, the new auto detected intro starts at the second beat.
This is a bad issue, because normally the first beat is a downbeat, the ideal place to cue a track.

same problem here since 2.3.1, never noticed that on 2.2.
