Bug Description
On macOS 10.13.6, idle CPU usage is 99% with 4 decks (waveforms and spinnies) showing. The interface is very laggy and hard to use when playing tracks.
Reproduced from release-2.2.0, 2.2 branch, and master branch. The 2.2.0 release (which uses Qt 5.11), is normal (50% idle CPU usage).
