Mixxx could use a "battery mode"

Bug Description

I have noticed that mixxx used a lot of power, especially since the introduction of the pretty waveforms. It turns out it's possible to tweak the power usage down by about a factor of 2 (see my thread here: https://mixxx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12010). It would be really nice if all of the energy-efficiency settings were available at a click (or even the default) when mixxx was used without power supply on a laptop. Otherwise, it's difficult to DJ a full gig even with a new battery!

whoopsy, wrong bug...

nevertheless, a reliable battery indicator is priceless.
recently I had to share the Thinkpad ac adaptor with a fellow DJ during a b2b session, and I plugged in too late a few times so my machine went to standby (and Resume doesn't always work..)
