Couldn't load track

win 32, mixx 2.1.1 r6743

This usually happend after using mixxx more than one hour.

a) first it stop analyzing track what loaded to deck, i can play it, it wont draw wave.
b) if try to load a new track it will show error message Couldn't load track.

No problem with track/song, can load it if restart mixxx. this happends often. allmost every session.
when placing hotques and fix grids and bpm's etc...

There must be also a media foundation bug. I cannot find yet.

I've never seen this error before, even when testing corrupt files.

If any track can't be loaded then those error messages indicate that there is a general issue opening or reading from a file. Reading the MP3 file header seems to fail, because the decoder is unable to read data from the (memory-mapped) file.

Please try to open other audio files with different formats when this error occurs again, i.e. wav/flac/m4a/ogg/... and report which works and which not. Hopefully there is a pattern related to file access.

I suppose that Mixxx is running out of some kind of system resources on Windows. But this seems to only occur for your configuration, because otherwise many others should have had this issue before.

Mixxx can't load +90% of tracks after this error happend. It continues prompting error message.
I just close Mixxx and restart, continue preparing tracks for use, and it works well.

Its not a typical track, its totally random track when it happends.
This error have been since feb, but i have been lazy and not reported, and thinking it will be fixed.

since feb i have prepare to mixxx more than 1000 tracks, there is no pattern when it happends or it will do it after 1-2 hour working (preparing tracks), i have tried thinking what special i do before, but cant find anything.

I will try to open flac and wav , next time

Can you add a full mixxx.log from a faulty run?

Please report also the memory consumption reported in the windows task manager. Maybe we are hunting a memory leak.

I could load about six flac tracks, after error message pop up.
then fatal crash, i checked memory earlier it was around 1.1Gb working set and free +50%

tracks are sata 3 hard disk. and mixxx analysis are c: SSD.
