Mixx won't load tracks

When using Mixxx, it runs fine initially
Suddenly sound will cut out on the deck, but the song will continue to play. I'll switch back to the previously used deck and then load a track or click and drag a track to the deck and nothing will show up. No waveform or any information 'bout the song. But it'll play anyways and no sound. Then the other deck will effectively break like a chain reaction.

Example:

Play song A on deck 1, cue song B on deck 2. Song A ends, slide over to Song B on deck 2. Deck 2 suddenly loses sound and plays nothing so slide back over to Deck 1 to play new song loaded on deck 1 and it works fine. But Loading a new song on deck 2.......no information loads. Then when switching to it to try and fix it, deck 1 breaks.

All songs are either .mp3 or .m4a.......

Could it be you have keyboard shortcuts enabled and accidently activated 'mute' for a deck or for Master, or vinyl passthrough or alike?

Something similiar happened to me and it took me ages to discover I activated some EQ kill buttons while trying to type in the library's search field.

Nah I have nothing like that setup. I'm completely new to Mixxx and have talked to others who have been using it for a while. They've had no issues and just used the straight download. I'm not using any external interfaces either. Because like I said......the deck just kills it's self after about 5 minutes of use. Won't load anything

Which version of Mixxx are you using on which OS?
By luck this issue is solved in the recent 2.1 beta.

and the latest released version 2.0. I just can't figure out why it's doing this.....lol
