Bug Description
I recorded my show today while using 2.1 beta (see image)
Everything started okay then about 3 minutes in (see #1 on image) everything went into overdrive at a high level, the waveform via the deck doesn't look like it was that much higher than other songs. Then it all went back to normal for awhile until 16 minutes in (#3 on the image). Sound went to a very low level and stayed there. I didn't hear any change on the headphones or live broadcast via 3rd party DSP Encoders. I imagine that if I was able to use the Mixxx encoders that my audience would hear this.
Is normalization supposed to take care of some of this?

Have you analyzed all your tracks in advance? If a track has not been analyzed, when it is first loaded, Mixxx analyzes it for gain normalization, but it does not apply the gain until the next time the track is played to avoid a sudden jump in the volume.
