Bug Description
I had this problem while performing lately:
Due an accident I pressed the waveform preparing for a needle drop, which was not my intent. Pressing ESC did not abort the action and there was no way to escape except through a glitch or holding the mouse until the track ends.
I found this a highly irritating.
