The general impression people had when I showed them Mixxx at the GSOC Mentor Summit was something like "That looks really cool but I have no idea where to begin using it." The manual can help with this, but I think tutorial videos could be more effective for teaching new users how to use Mixxx.

Yes, Mixxx should have an official YouTube channel. There are some videos, but they're all old screencasts that don't really explain how and why to use features of Mixxx or how to use a controller or turntables.

I'll make at least a video tutorial for effects with the Components EffectUnit for the 2.1 final release. I'll aim to have a complete video series for the 2.3 release.

Shoudn't we introduce a 2.1.1 milestone and assign all issues that are supposed to be fixed or finished in a following 2.1.x release? It is confusing to use the 2.2.0 milestone for this purpose.

I will remove the milestone, because this can be done independent from a Mixxx version and there was no progress lately.
