Bug Description

Mixxx 2.1 alpha (approximately from begining of march 2017)
Windows

Seems that there's something not working well with this new type of filter, "biquad full kill equalizer". Basically, it seems it can decrease gain (with kill working), but it cannot increase. I.e. Is as if it was limited to 0dBFS.
If it really is the case, then, the equalizer should fake it by internally increasing the input gain and lowering the other frequency bins.

The attenuation and amplification are intentionally asymmetrical. It goes down to negative infinity and up to +12 dB. Maybe you're just not noticing the amplification because you're expecting it to be more prominent? Refer to discussion on the PR that introduce the effect: https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/1164
