misleading error dialog for sound hardware

I am having problems with mixxx, it does sees my Terratec Aureon 5.1 external soundcard but I can not set it for headphones or master. it just gives me failer and mixxx crashes.
I have mixxx 2.0.0
ubuntu 16.04.1 64bit
acer extensa 5230e notebook souncard: Intel 82801IB ICH9 HD Audio Controller
processor: Intel® Celeron(R) CPU 900 @ 2.20GHz
of course with ALSA
I have added mixxx.log as attachment

ok, I have just tried the same with my other desktop computer and I had the same result.
i am adding the log file from the other computer also.

In the log, I see:
Warning [Main]: Error opening stream: Invalid sample rate

Try setting the sample rate to 48 kHz in Mixxx's Sound Hardware Preferences.

Are you using the digital output?

An other issue here is the Mixxx displays the misleading error message box "Sound Device Busy"
Which should be fixed.

I am using Analog, I tried to change it digital, it doesn't work then.
so I changed the rates to 48 kHz and now it is working in both of my computers.
I am posting the log from my notebook again.

I have just pushed a PR https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/1030
That fixes the issues with the startup dialogs.
