Bug Description

I have a relatively recent install of OS X Yosemite. I had a fresh install of 10.9 and I installed 10.10 immediately. This is on a late-2012 iMac (i5 2.9 GHz, 8GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB)

Strangely, it seems to work, but only crashes when I switch to "black" vinyl mode, which is the mode used to scroll through tracks.

It seems to work fine until I hit that. Then the controller's lights freeze and Mixxx hangs and then crashes.

I tried using 1.11 and when it repeatedly crashed, I downloaded 1.12.0-beta1 (build 1.12 r5442) (taken from "About Mixxx....") and I still get the crash.

I am a programmer. I have Xcode, etc installed. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

I used to be able to reproduce this but haven't been able to with master.
