control toggle stepping knob does not work correctly

Bug Description

I have tried to add for my effect a CONTROL_TOGGLE_STEPPING knob with multiple states. I added a couple of steps, and instead of getting the value at step i, the knob returns i.
For example if i add steps 2, 4, 8, 12 and the return values of the knob will be 0, 1, 2, 3.

A stepped knob would be very helpful, especially for sync'ed effect parameter knobs like Echo delay etc.
