Bug Description

When Mixxx is playing and you want to add a device, you won't be able to find it in the pref page without stopping the music.

SoundManager doesn't support this currently.

This is probably going to require a SoundManager restructuring -- and it'll likely be tricky. Before anyone starts work on it let's write a design doc first.
