Bug Description

I see there is a possibility to export a crate as a m3u playlist.
And I see a possibily to import it also (although I read that this does not function well yet, I did not yet test it myself).

I think it would be nice to have a "mass export" and "mass import" in which all crates are exported/imported at once.

I also think that the "mass import" would best come with a "replace" option in the sence of "first delete all crates" then "import all available crates" (i.e. "from a given folder"?).
In that way one has the choice of "mass adding crates" or "mass replacing all crates".

Both import/export of crates/playlists should work in M3U, M3U8, PLS, or CSV formats. Where did you read that import doesn't work?

Sorry for my late reply.
I've invested almost all of my free time lately into trying to create a basic startup partition just for Mixxx.
Don't get me wrong ... Mixxx works fine, it's just that I have the impression that the graphics suffer from an overcharged CPU.
So I've tried to built this basic partition with Ubuntu ... DISASTER !!! ... One issue after the other and still no Mixxx with Ubuntu. :-(
But that's not the issue here, I'll set up a post on this on the forum one of these days (or weeks). It'll be a long post.
But I'm confident that some people will be able to talk me through to it.
Back to the import issue ...

Now where did I read that import doesn't work? ...
Or rather ... doesn't always work?
Probably this post http://www.mixxx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4184&p=18429&hilit=import+problem#p18429.
It's the only matching post that I found on short term.
It's also over a year old, so may already have been solved.

There's also http://www.mixxx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6626&p=22724&hilit=import+problem#p22724.
But I don't recognise it, so I doubt it was this one.

Now mind ... I still did not test it myself yet.
Can well be that it works perfectly.
I hope to be able to try it out soon with some generated playlists.
Still working on that though. :-(
