Bug Description
It would be nice if Mixxx could play music stored on MTP devices, which includes Android devices and other portable media players. An MTP device could be a useful backup if, for example, a filesystem or a particular music file is corrupted. Considering the popularity of Android devices, this would allow many DJs to have a backup without carrying around any extra devices. Also, as pointed out in the analogous bug for iPod support (Bug #849860), this would allow DJs to play music from others' portable music players.
