Bug Description

at random times but sometimes never when loading a new track all audio will cut out and ill have to exit out of the app to fix it. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and is starting to become a real party pooper, sometimes literally.

I'm guessing that means Mixxx 1.11, but if you could, please check Help > About to check the version.

Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7?
Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Mixxx?

If you're willing, could you try out an alpha release of 1.12.0 to see if we fixed this already?

32-bit: http://downloads.mixxx.org/builds/master/mixxx-master-git4719-x86.exe
64-bit: http://downloads.mixxx.org/builds/master/mixxx-master-git4719-x64.exe

cheers,
RJ

I'm not sure it's the same issue but it looks like :

It still randomly occures but, in my case, it has always been when the new track has never been analysed before (it can help maybe).

are you using any sort of sync mode?

Yes, the persistant sync on both decks.

Jean Claveau (jean-claveau-g) wrote :

I found a simple way to reproduce it :
+ Enable persistent sync on both decks
+ Add 2 tracks (to autodj playlist) that have never been analysed before.
+ Enable autodj

At the end of the analyse of the first track, the pitch will go to -100 and the music will stop.

I've tried to reproduce it like Jean did above. This works as expected now maybe except of a pitch change of the first track once it is analyzed because it will then get piched against MasterClock I think. But no party stopper for me

Did some more testing. Tempo of first track will jump to 99 bpm once analyzed. That shouldn't happen I think but is not critical as the master-clock actually has no tempo set.
