Bug Description

Mixxx 1.12 can currently read the libraries of Rhythmbox, Banshee, iTunes, and Traktor. It would be convenient for users of Amarok to integrate support for Amarok's library into Mixxx. It would be awesome to be able to import flags from Amarok as hotcue points.

Any Idea how to do this?

As far as I know Amarok stores is meta data in the KDE system wide MySql DB.
Does Amarok has an export format or should we read directly from the DB?

Changed in mixxx:

Amarok stores its data in an embedded MySQL database in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/

Optionally, Amarok can be configured to use an external MySQL server (see https://community.kde.org/Amarok/Community/MySQL ).

Thank you for the updates.
Do you have fun to work on it?
It looks like we can do it quite similar to Banshee.
So just rename Mixxx's Banshee classes and ....

I don't know SQL or C++, so I wouldn't know how to work on it. I looked around for documentation about the database and found these resources which may be helpful:

We can probably solve this via the MPRIS Interface.
