Kicking to 1.13.0 unless there is a candidate for 1.12.0 that emerges soon!

I would like to start working on this one. Any hints to how should I start approaching this feature? Thanks:)

Thank you for offering your work here.

You should investigate if there is a GPL 2.0 compatible licensed Phaser out there and check if it suits to Mixxx.
Somtimes it is also possible to relicenses the code if we get the permission from the author.

Yo may also check if there are public papers that describes the Phaser effect.
The MIxxx EQs are based on fidlib, with a nice wrapping class dealing with transitions.
Maybe you can reuse it. fiview the fidlib design tool helps also a lot.

Looking at stop boxes manuals button and knob layout may also help.

This forum helped med a lot when I have integrated the Moog Ladder:

Pleas post all your findings and plans here, so we may help early to avoid extra loops.

I have read about how phasers work, and tried to look for some already implemented. I have found one in audacity and tried to implement it in mixxx, however the output sound does not sound too good. Can someone take a look and tell me what i'm doing wrong?
I have also added in the attachement the phaser from audacity.
Thanks :)

Hi Alex,

is there a significant difference in audacity sound and your results?
If not, just find a better implementation.
If yes, a GitHub pull request is the best place to discuss and test you changes.
This way we can test your entire project.
