Bug Description

With 1.12.0-alpha-pre (build master r3980) in Ubuntu Saucy I can see continuously printing in terminal:

Warning [Engine]: ERROR: Buffer overflow in EngineMicrophone. Dropping samples on the floor.

My setup is Alsa
HDA Intel PCH: ALC269VC Analog (hw:0,0) Channel 1-2
for Master and
HDA Intel PCH: ALC269VC Analog (hw:0,0) Channel 1-2
for microphone

Microphon is not working.

My Microphon is still not working, with Trusty. Only if I use the pulse wrapper.
But this is not on top of my list for today.
