Bug Description
I just installed Mixxx version 1.11.0 (build r3862) on my machine, a Lenovo e420 running CrunchBang Waldorf Stable. Mapped an external MIDI controller and had a track playing on Deck 1. During playback I was examining interface and other options in Options / Preferences / Interface.
"Display type" was set as "Filtered (GL)," the default setting. I clicked one of the Qt settings while the track was playing and my system froze immediately and was unresponsive (no mouse movement either). Track began stuttering at current playback position. I had to do a hard reboot to recover.
I tried to replicate the behavior after rebooting, but Mixxx didn't crash again. The display type updated as I chose it during playback. So, I don't know whether this was a one-off or might indicate some low-level bug that will occur occasionally. So far as I know, I wasn't running any other background processes the first time that wouldn't have been running the second time. Maybe some background OS process was involved the first time?
Anyways, realize it's a low-priority issue, but thought I'd let you know. Cheers
Kevin

We have some other bug reports like that. But currently no idea for a fix.
This might be a graphic driver issue. Please report your graphic hardware and your installed driver as well.
Thank you.
