Popping sound when using ASIO4ALL

Bug Description

Problem: audio is badly distorted with continual popping, insufficient latency. It does this no matter what the latency is set to. If you go to the preferences menu and select "Restore to default" it clears up and will play fine the rest of the day. Next time MIXXX is loaded, it may or may not act up. Seems to do it about once every five times.

It does this on two computers, both laptops. Both are running Windows 7, both are using ASIO4ALL. A desktop with Windows 7 and NOT using ASIO4ALL does not experience this problem. So I'm suspecting a compatibility problem between MIXXX and ASIO4ALL.

I've used ASIO4ALL with MIXXX 1.11 Alpha 1, alpha 2, and Beta 1 with no problem. Seems to have been introduced with Beta 2, and it does this with the final 1.11 version.

What shows the underflow counter at the hardware preference pane?
Is it increasing? How many input ans output channels are configured?

It is not recommended to use ASIO4all if you have a single soundcard and there is no native ASIO driver shipped with it.
Use use the WDM-KS API instead.
