when both spinnies are enabled they freeze and stop moving

tested using both diferent skins (latenightdark-netbook and outline-netbook) and waveforms hsv and filtered software and also with waveform off.

in latest bzr 1.11 r 3875

confirmed on two different computers.
the first is the netbook for hell, which some many remember(atom n270 1.6ghz):

OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GME x86/MMX/SSE2

and the other is an old 3ghz p4 with an nvidia card

OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer
