blank window in history export feature

MIxxx 1.11.0 (build r3863)
Linux Mint 14 64 bit, kernel 3.9.0-030900

How to reproduce
* Select a playlist in the HISTORY sidebar item
* Rich-click and choose "Export playlist"
* Next window is completely blank and grey coloured, so i can't do anything except closing it and returning to initial condition

I have no Linux Mint 14 installed.

Is it the Ubuntu Quantal based version?
Which desktop environment do you use?

Can you try it switched to Englisch again?
Does it also happen on playlist and crate export?

Does anyone else have any idea how to debug it remote?

I believe this is not a Mixxx bug but instead a QGtkStyle bug that is back
from the dead:

I haven't found any bug related to this on the Qt tracker though.

stex -- what Qt version do you have?

Yes it's 12.10 Ubuntu Quantal based, i use Cinnamon DE
It also happens on playlist and crate export.
What do you mean with "Can you try it switched to Englisch again?"

My first Idea was that it might be a translation error.
Do verify it, you can set the Mixxx language to "English"

The dialog will start in your music directory
~/Musik on my German Ubuntu
What is the folder on your system?

Could you also try it again with waveforms disabled and the refesh rate set to 1.
We have currently a fast Timer in Mixxx for waveform rendering which may produce the issue described in the Qt Bug from comment #3.

Disabling waveforms and setting the rate to 1 i was able to save something.
Thanks a lot :)

Now the problem is that every format i choose, i get a .m3u file.
Any idea?
However i promise i will try updating qt as soon as possible

both problem solved!!

Updating qt to 5.0.2 following these instructions http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=127051 i was able to solve blank window problem without disabling waveforms and setting the rate to 1.

Setting manually name.extension i was able to get the wanted extension,
(extension choice integrated in the window doesn't have any effect and set m3u as default)

You have to add the desired extension to your file name.
The combo box sets only the filter for the view.

You are right, this is not self explanatory.

If you like, you can file a new bug for it.
