ok, I successfully installed the latest compiler (7.1 SP1)
Microsoft (R) C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 16.00.40219.01 for x64

I'm am rebuilding QT for the moment, with these options :
(from QT 4.8.2 everywhere)
configure -qt-zlib -qt-libpng -qt-libmng -qt-libtiff -qt-libjpeg -opensource -plugin-sql-sqlite -release -no-qt3support -no-dsp -mp -phonon -nomake demos -nomake examples

building x64 and x86, so it will take a few hours.

I'm leaving the command line here, if Pegasus_RPG (nick from irc) can check this and tell me if something is wrong, let me know.

I'll let you know when everything has been compiled with this version of the compiler.
