Bug Description

The server creates a Unix socket of the form "wayland-N" in $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR, but does not provide any way for the user to know which socket to use. (The client could be supplied with WAYLAND_DISPLAY but only if the socket is known.)

QtWayland has "--wayland-socket-name" allowing the socket name to be set on the commandline, that approach would allow us to specify the name to both server and clients.
