Mir-on-X is very laggy and stutters (if rendering and moving the mouse simultaneously)

Test case: Start a server under X and a client or two like mir_demo_client_egltriangle. Now try moving the cursor/windows around.

Expected: Responsive shell
Observed: Heavy stuttering and lag

It's possible server-mesa-x11.so.13 isn't quite as ready for unthrottled input introduced in Mir 0.26.0. But that's not an uncommon mistake people make in client development. Just need to make sure the code can deal with more input events than frames produced.
