Not able to reproduce but seems to happen pretty quickly. Ive yet to hit this on mir_demo_server and seem to keep hitting it on miral
Here is the backtrace of where it seems to be spinning (only 1 CPU is spinning at 100%).

Looking at the stacktrace it seems it could be in focus next session? Though there are a few other threads going they all seemed to be locked/polled/cond var. |

When I do hit this, unable to do anything key focus wise. (I can open a terminal ctrl+alt+t but i cant type into, mouse events work fine) |

Start a Mir server (doesn't have to be miral-shell, but we'll use that example) with gnome-terminal:
$ miral-shell --startup gnome-terminal
In the terminal start and detach Xmir:
$ Xmir -rootless :1&
Close the terminal.
When I do hit this, unable to do anything key focus wise. (I can open a terminal ctrl+alt+t but i cant type into, mouse events work fine) |
