Mir-on-X has two mouse pointers.

Fortunately they mostly match up, but the one rendered in the Mir window lags behind the other and stutters a bit.

I wonder if this is because my mouse is set to 1000Hz?

You can see a huge difference in the smoothness using mir_demo_client_fingerpaint too:
  env MIR_CLIENT_INPUT_RATE=59 mir_demo_client_fingerpaint

On the other hand, using the software cursor solves screen rotation. Maybe we should be hiding the X cursor.

Perhaps hide/show the X cursor on EnterNotify/LeaveNotify.
