2015-02-11 01:35:11 Daniel van Vugt summary Missing API for surface movement, resize, bring-to-front [enhancement] Missing client API for relative surface movement
2015-02-11 01:36:18 Daniel van Vugt description Mir needs support for moving surfaces around, resizing surfaces, and changing surface stacking order (bringing surfaces to front and focused). Mir needs a client API to allow surfaces to move themselves relatively. This is required to support full client-side decorations, and also other apps like Google Chrome and Gnome Nautilus which can be dragged using part of their client areas.

Later additions that are so similar I think they are part of the same bug: there need to be client APIs for "always on top" and "client initiate resize".
