Boots to garbled screen.

Screenshot included, no way to gather any information from the machine at that time.

USB and Iso - working properly, same setup installed to another machine without error shortly after

Running in Xubuntu.

Same bug affects me too, on Dell Latitude E5500. Identical distortion of the desktop (although my splash screen during boot was not corrupted). Same chipset: Intel Mobile Corp Mobile 4 series.

Assigning to Ubuntu. If you're doing a live boot then you don't have Mir.

Apologies. I just found out that Xubuntu does indeed have Mir now. And there's not really any more info you can add to the bug.

Hm. That looks particularly like a stride/tiling issue. I may be able to scrounge up some similar hardware and give it a whirl.

Can you please re-test this? A lot has changed in Mir since the bug was logged.
