Bug Description

i havent looked into exactly why it is happening so forgive me if this is vauge.

i am running linux mint xfce (debian)

mintmenu and xfapplet is included, but when i use other themes for mintmenu my cpu will run at 85% or more while the menu is closed, and there is no extra cpu use when the menu is open.
when i use the default theme or any of the included xfce themes there is no excessive cpu load.

i came accross this trying to use atolm theme, but the issue exists on many other themes.

version:
mintMenu 5.2.2
