missing favourite view refresh to show applications added on first run

Bug Description

mintMenu 2.5 "Celena"
To reproduce the bug follow these steps.
1. remove mintMenu from the gnomepanel
2. remove or move ~/.linuxmint/mintMenu folder
3. add mintMenu to the gnomepanel

4. now on "first run" select from "All applications view" and add any application to favourites by right clicking and select "Add to favourites"
5. switch view to favourites now displays a blank list instead of the added application
5a. switching back and forth from all applications to favourites does not refresh view to show the added application

6. If mintMenu is restarted or if a new application is added to favourites after favourites view have been displayed all added applications shows up.

Alternative way to reproduce the bug.
1. clear the favourites list by removing all favourites by right clicking and select remove
2. restart mintMenu
3. follow step 4 above.

This bug impacts on the first impression of using mintMenu since the add to favourites function feels broken.
