Bug Description

I use Midori in French and spellcheck does not work with special characters like é or à.
If I type "état" (which is correct), it will be underlined in red and if I right-click on it, it will propose me "état" (same word) and if I click on it, it will write "état".
I don't have this problem with any other program.

OP can you still confirm this bug?

If so, can you post your Midori and Webkit versions?

I confirm this international issue with Midori 0.4.3 (Ubuntu Quantal's repositories), and also Midori 0.4.9 from PPA in the same environment (Ubuntu 12.10 i386)

But works right for me in Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise), from distribution repository.

Could it be a problem of UTF8 encoding?

I'm afraid it's a webkit "problème" as there is same "problème" with epiphany
