The preference dialog is to small to see all extensions.

When I maximize the dialog doesn't look good.

I think the best would be, to move extensions into a seperate dialog.

Conversely, the panel is too narrow to show the descriptions well.

It's true, though, that the panel could show 10 and more extensions at once, as opposed to 4.

Going for version numbers and switches means decreasing the consistency we just won by having the same style as extension managers in most other applications.
