Bug Description
So that its consistent with how elementary want grids to behave, it should be possible to selection multiple site tiles at once, for contextual actions like delete or open.

I'm not sure I 100% agree with this. You're talking about a grid of launchers, not files. I'm not sure it makes a ton of sense to select multiple launchers.
