Bug Description

Midori doesn´t save startup page settings on Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64.

Scenario:
- go to Menu->Preferences->Startup
- select ¨Show speed dial¨
- press ¨Close¨
- open 1 or more webpages in different tabs
- close Midori
- open Midori

Expected result:
- the speed dial is displayed

Actual result:
- all webpages that were opened before Midori was closed are loaded
- go to Menu->Preferences->Startup
- The selection from the dropdown is: ¨Last tabs without loading them¨

OP, can you confirm this issue still persists with the latest version of Midori? If so, can you post the information from about:version here?

The settings are now saved, so technically the reported issue is now fixed.

However, choosing any of "Last opened tabs" and "Last opened tabs without loading them" from the same drop down is severely broken. Here's the scenario:

Scenario:
- go to Menu->Preferences->Startup
- select "Last opened tabs" or "Last opened tabs without loading them"
- press ¨Close¨
- open 1 or more webpages in different tabs
- close Midori
- open Midori

Expected result:
- the web pages from the last session are restored

Actual result:
- endless Midori instances are launched (multiple windows i.e. processes, not tabs)

To break from this seemingly infinite loop I clicked in the Midori windows until Windows prompted me to "Close the application". To change back the setting, and re-use Midori, I went to All Programs->Midori->Website, and chose to edit the Preferences.
