split item contains incorrect order of jps2

Items set with 'split_item=TRUE' appear online with the jps2 images in incorrect order.

1. Load an item.
2. Use modify.xml to set item to 'split_item=TRUE'.
3. Use microfilm uploader to upload item (item only contains a 'frames' folder with all jp2 files inside).
