I see this error on the NYT reels:
PPM image file must start with the magic string, "P6"!

We're lowering the importance on this bug because our microfilm process has changed and republishing-type activity (such as cropping and deskewing) is being performed on the boxes themselves.
This could change, so we're leaving the bug here, however.
