Bug Description

I generate process e- e+ > e- e+ a:

generate e- e+ > e- e+ a
output ./generates/s/e-l_e+l_a_s0
launch ./generates/s/e-l_e+l_a_s0
set nevents 100000
set ebeam1 500.0
set ebeam2 500.0
set polbeam1 -100
set polbeam2 -100
launch ./generates/s/e-l_e+l_a_s0
launch ./generates/s/e-l_e+l_a_s0

run_03 crashes with error (<PATH> is inserted in place of the path to MG5 directory):

Hi,

Could it be an hardware related problem (or a quota one?)
I have run the same on my machine (mac) and faces no issue at all.
If the issue was physics related (a bad phase-space point), I should have been able to reproduce it.

I have also run with maximum debugging level to be sure that the generated code was not having issue that could lead to unexpected behaviour by the compiler and again nothing pop up. So my best guess here is an hardware or quota issue...

Sorry to not being very helpful here.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi, Olivier

Thank you for the answer. I use Linux Ubuntu 22.04. I have generated this process without errors for 3 or 4 times, but I don't know why there was the error. I changed number of events and it fixed, but I don't understand what was the problem. This error was also with other parameters (e- or e+ with other polarization). Maybe it will help somebody else with this error in future.

Cheers,

Yaroslav
