Madgraph in singularity crashes (permison error) when running madspin

This might well be my mistake somewhere, but I'm having trouble getting past it.

When using the singularity container kindly released by Olivier Mattelaer (found at https://singularity-hub.org/containers/5633) I have trouble running madspin. It seems the program wants to alter the file "/usr/mg5amcnlo/input/mg5_configuration.txt" at run time, but unfortunately the user does not have write permission in this directory. The full debug log is attached.

Is there a way I can move just that file into another directory?

So actually I was over complicating this - it's easiest to just add permissions to the file when the singularity is built; https://singularity-hub.org/containers/14571
