MadEvent MSSM param card calculator 1 (website) not functional

I believe there was a recent update to the website, I had been using the MadEvent MSSM param card calculator where one inputs a leshouches spectrum to receive a param card pretty regularly without issue, but now doesn't seem to be working. The error I receive when I try to use this calculator is:

Generation failed

The resulting /var/www/htdocs/MadGraphData/**myemail@me**/Cards/param_card_1.dat could not be opened.
Click the "backwards" button in you browser and correct the error.

Did you try on both our server?
or is it only one which is down (in that case which one?)

Hey Olivier,

I tried it on both servers. The one at UIUC is simply not there, while the one at UCL is giving me the error I wrote about on the report.

Since 2.5.1 is not officially released this page is completely irrelevant since the file created is anyway not compatible with the latest version of the code.
I have therefore remove the link pointing to those page.

Sorry to open this again. I want to generate a param_card using the SUSY Les Houches file from soft susy. How would I do it if the MSSM param card calculator is not working (The resulting /var/www/htdocs/MadGraphData/**myemail@me**/Cards/param_card_1.dat could not be opened.)? I tried both UCL and UIUC server

Hi,

Those calculators are useless since we dropped slha1 years ago. (and I'm not sure what such calculator were doing anyway)

Some conversion tools are now built-in inside the main python code.
update to_slha1 # convert slha2 format to slha1 # please double check the output
update to_slha2 # convert slha1 format to slha2 # please double check the output
update missing # complete the card with the missing information set to the default of the model
