Bug Description

Hello,

Madgraph is crashing when I try to run with the EWdim6 model. This is the message I see on screen:

Do you want to edit a card (press enter to bypass editing)?
  1 / param : param_card.dat
  9 / plot : plot_card.dat
 you can also
   - enter the path to a valid card or banner.
   - use the 'set' command to modify a parameter directly.
The set option works only for param_card and run_card.
Type 'help set' for more information on this command.
[0, done, 1, param, 9, plot, enter path]

I am attaching the run, param and reweight cards, as well as the debug file. Do you have any idea what is causing the crash?

Best,

Hi Rafael,

I tried to reproduce your problem. But I didn't suceed.
So which version did you use (branch and version number)

I've just try w+ w- and w+ w- j (so no two jet sample)
But your error message seems related to the no jet multiplicity so I doubt that it will change anything.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi,

First, sorry for taking so long to respond, I am traveling and could only find a time to answer emails now. I am using version 2.0.0beta4. Yes, it doesn't seem to be related to jets, but to the taus and b in the redefinition of the multiparticles l and j. When I write the processes individually, say:

generate p p > w+ w- / t h , w+ > l+ vl , w- > l- vl~ @1
add process p p > w+ w- / t h , w+ > ta+ vt , w- > l- vl~ @2
add process p p > w+ w- / t h , w+ > l+ vl , w- > ta- vt~ @3
add process p p > w+ w- / t h , w+ > ta+ vt , w- > ta- vt~ @4

then it doesn't crash. I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Rafael.
